About the club
Quamby Fly Fishers Club - welcomes any angler regardless of preference for fly fishing, lure or bait.

The club has a small membership and meetings feature an informal atmosphere, with frequent shared practical sessions in fly tying, knots, new materials/gear, best practice ideas, hot spots and sorry tales.

There are also occasional guest speakers and regular club outings during the season.

The club has a small library of books, videos, DVDs and equipment for borrowing. We also have a 3m x 3m tent available for hire.

The Club is a member of the Tasmanian Fly Fishers Association through which member concerns about aspects of Tasmania's trout fishery are forwarded to the Anglers Alliance Tasmania.

The club members have participated in the Liawenee Open Weekend offering casting tuition.

The club usually enters a team in the Tasmanian Fly Fishing Championships and gives volunteer support to the event.

Some members have represented Australia in the World, Commonwealth and Oceania Fly Fishing Championships.
